Nova is a cross-cutting computer platform for the administrations of the Brussels-Capital Region, dedicated to the management of dossiers for urban planning, subdivision and environmental permits, urban planning infringements and urban planning information requests. 

Track the progress of your building permit application 

Nova is intended for citizens through the Online Permit service, allowing the 24/7 consultation of their data online as well as live tracking of the status of their dossier. 

Nova also serves Urban and covers the management of applications for urban planning permits, the secretariat, infringements, appeals, the consultation committee, the municipal urban planning regulations, the Specific Land Use Plans (PPAS) and the subdivision permits. 

Thanks to this management, processing and information exchange platform, everyone can follow the progress of their dossiers with another administration. The interaction initiated at the municipal, regional and Brussels Environment levels avoids redundant encoding. 

Processing of urban planning permit applications and management of urban planning inquiries 

Nova serves the Urban Planning and Environment department of all Brussels municipalities. It allows them to process permit applications, provide secretariat support with proof of filing and mailing, and manage the consultation committee process (calendar, agenda and minutes). The platform also allows them to manage requests for urban planning information, dossiers on urban planning infringements, PPAS and the sending of information to the FPS Finance (registry). 

Processing of environmental permit applications

Nova is also intended for Brussels Environment: the platform authorises the processing of dossiers for environmental permits and Energy Performance of Buildings (PEB).
