Fidus is an integrator of data from authentic sources in the Brussels-Capital Region, and allows a client application to connect to a provider's online services. Fidus organises the data exchange of public services, at the regional or federal level.  

Simplifying and protecting data exchange

The objective of Fidus is to regulate and boost the electronic exchange of data between public bodies, in accordance with the "only-once" principle. In the interests of administrative simplification and personal data protection, this principle requires a user to provide their data to a public body only once, and this body to then make it available to others that can demonstrate a legitimate need to access it. 

Exploiting data 

Paradigm provides the interested partner with a web services platform to collect, exploit and exchange digital data between organisations, securely and subject to the authorisation of the Privacy Commission. No copy of the exchanged flows is kept.
